It may seem retrograde, but The Economist, like many publishers, is super-bullish about how digital tablets, more than websites, align perfectly with ye olde analogue print magazines’ best qualities.

Fair to say, due to a combination of system complexity and ongoing iOS-mania, publishers have been slow to embrace Android.
But here is a demo of a forthcoming The Economist app for upcoming Android tablets…
