Another mobile content company has gone direct-to-consumer, with Zingy launching a shortcode-based service with a “Get Dfrnt” ad theme…content is available as pay-per-download ($1.99 wallpaper, polytone, $2.99 realtone) or as part of a subscription plan, $4.99 per month for either 3 realtones, 6 polytones or 6 wallpapers. It would be a lot better to offer one subscription plan where you can get all three types of content…
(Note: It could be just the subscription plans that are new)
