US/Korean company Wider Than and Norwegian Beep Science have partnered to offer a full-track music service to European operators. Wider Than will supply the music service (its Wider Music platform) and Beep Science will supply the DRM, which complies with the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standard. “Together the companies will enable European operators to launch digital music services while allowing record labels to work closely with operators to drive growth for mobile music business.”
