Tween-Focused MVNO Raises $27 Million Funding
Kajeet, a tween-focused (yep, we were really missing that segment, weren’t we?) MVNO startup based in Bethesda, MD, has received a big $27 million first round. Investors include Bessemer Venture Partners and syndicated with Gabriel Venture Partners, InterWest Partners and Fidelity Ventures. The founding team is here.
What the hell does Kajeet mean? Well, nothing really, just an anagram of the first letters of the names of the company founders’ children…yeah, we’ll have some fun with this one, for sure.
