The History Of Rock On Your Mobile

HistoryOfRockRichard E. Aaron is launching The History Of Rock on mobile phones. A bit of background… Richard E. Aaron has been a photographer of Rock and Roll for several decades and has over two million photos of thousands of bands, from “Chuck Berry and B.B. King to The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin; from David Bowie and Peter Frampton to Iggy Pop and the Sex Pistols; from Prince and Paul McCartney to Michael Jackson and Van Halen”. That’s quite a catalogue, but the interesting thing is how it is being used: “Start Mobile will launch The History Of Rock with 30 images personally selected by Mr. Aaron, and only 1000 of each image will be available for sale as mobile wallpaper at $1.99 each—the world’s first limited-edition fine art rock & roll photographic exhibition offered exclusively for the mobile medium.”

Very cool having his images on my phone. I went to Richard E. Aaron's web site, he has some really great art work. Plus they are for sale.

I own three of Mr. Aaron's 16x20 prints and I always wanted to use him image for my phone wallpaper. Now I can. Great idea.
