As we mentioned in the post in August, Sprint Nextel is testing Qualcomm’s MediaFlo, and has dubbed it VUE, RCR figures out after two months. It confirmed it is conducting trials using the network technology and could soon join initial launch carrier Verizon Wireless in offering the service to consumers. Verizon’s own service is supposed to launch in the first quarter next year, after being delayed from third or fourth quarter this year.
