So said Blake Krikorian, CEO of Slingmedia, the company that makes TV and place shifting device Slingbox, at the Web 2.0 conference today…he was on a panel and mentioned that his firm has done some European deals to show place-shifted TV on mobiles there, but has tied up with a big mobile carrier here, and will announce it soon. That potentially puts it up against MobiTV, so some extent.
I have a feeling it could be either Cingular or T-Mobile.
