Pulse Entertainment, a San Fancisco-based startup which develops mobile avatars called “Veepers”,  has closed a round of private funding from both new and existing investors…investors in the latest financing round include Anthem Venture Partners, Draper Associates, and other existing investors.
Among the company’s solutions, “Veepers Messaging”, where users can take an original snapshot from their camera-enabled handset (or choose from a wide variety of pre-built virtual people, animals, and other characters) and build an interactive, talking animated message in seconds…
Further, Pulse announced that it has been awarded patents covering the Veepers technology in both the U.S. and Japan.
