LG Electronics has tied up with luxury goods designer Prada to develop a mobile phone, and will launch early next year….the company said it “will combine high-end technology and avant-garde design”, whatever that means. The collaboration is focused on the key elements inside the phone, such as software, user interface and music as well as its look, for example design and packaging. It will have touch interface, without the conventional keypad.
The product will be launched in Italy, the UK, France, and Germany, and then distributed in Asia. More details in the release here.
