MySpace In Talks To Launch On Mobiles In UK; Cingular Deal To Be Enhanced

MySpace, which has mobile deals with Helio and Cingular in U.S., is now talking to operators in UK, including O2, reports Times UK. Rival Bebo, which is among the biggest social networking services in UK, also been talking to UK mobile players, including O2, about a tie-up.
The story also mentions something in passing which is interesting: MySpace is about to announce a broad deal with Cingular…it already has deal where Cingular users can buy MySpace bands’ ringtones. The MVNO Helio has an exclusive deal with MySpace for a while, and has recently started de-emphasizing the MySpace connection in advertising and other promotion.
