Mobile Ad Firm Millennial Media’s Total Funding: $6.3 Million First Round

Last month we mentioned about Millennial Media, a mobile advertising startup based in Baltimore, MD, and its first round of funding. The full amount was disclosed today: $6.3 million, co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners, and Columbia Capital, and included Acta Wireless.
The company was founded by Paul Palmieri, formerly at Verizon Wireless among others…it has an ad server and ad network, and competing against the like of ThirdScreenMedia, AdMob and others.
