Kamera Enters Korea With Its Mobile Video Content

Sweden’s mobile TV company Kamera is aggressively entering new markets. Close on the heels of signing a deal in India, Kamera has tied up with U1 Media, a Korean wireless broadcaster, for rolling out its WOW! TV entertainment news service in that country. Korea is an advanced mobile broadcasting market. Henrik Eklund, CEO of Kamera, said “the agreement is his company’s first with a digital multimedia broadcast (DMB) channel. Kamera’s content is now available in markets like Denmark, the Baltics, Austria, South Africa, Brazil and Singapore. Early this month, it signed up with Cellebrum in India.
