Industry Moves: Lazar Leaves Turner For Yahoo Connected Life, Europe

Mitch Lazar is leaving Turner Broadcasting after 12 years to head up Yahoo’s Connected Life division (broadband, mobile and digital home) in Europe, according to Brand Republic. Based in London, Lazar will be VP-business development reporting to Jim Schinella, global vp-of business development, Connected Life; his responsibilities will include relationships with European mobile and broadband operators. The goal: “Grow Yahoo!‘s footprint as the leading destination for mobile and broadband users across Europe through key partnerships with mobile carriers, manufacturers and broadband providers.”
Lazar was VP-wireless and emerging technology at Turner.
