Icebreaker Inc. has received an undisclosed amount of investment and venture capital funding from a combination of angel investors, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. The IceBreaker executive team has prior work experience in entrepreneurial environments as well as large corporations—Microsoft, Disney, and McKinsey & Co.
The mobile software firm also announced the launch of Crush or Flush, an interactive mobile dating platform that lets users post their photos and profiles to the mobile Web where users who like what they see can initiate contact (“crush” them), or do nothing (“flush” them). Press release
