Facebook Adds Mobile Internet

Facebook is expanding its mobile offering, having just finished building a WAP portal that will provide a mobile experience closer to that found on a PC. The writer reckons this is an important move because it shows that Facebook’s carrier partners (Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and Cingular) are beginning to be less wary about having social applications on their decks, after getting scared by the MySpace controversy.
