ESPN’s Mobile Licensing Deals Soon

ESPN, still reeling from the announced closure of MobileESPN MVNO, is close to announcing some distribution/licensing deals on its content and applications, George Bodenheimer, president of ESPN and ABC Sports and co-chairman of Disney Media Networks, told Reuters. “The Mobile ESPN application is going to be available to fans, just in a different method than how we started out,” he said. Does this mean anything? Not really.
