EA Mobile: Yes We Do, No We Don’t

So that story about EA Mobile going off deck, and then no-not-doing-it…turns out . well, I’ll let you decide…read this clarification interview with Mitch Lasky. I would have expected them to have more balls…period.
[James:] My two cents on this… a method of marketing that allowed customers to get directly to the download on a carriers deck would be a very good thing—it would bypass the issue of them trying to find it, failing, and giving up. Only the top few games on a carriers deck get much attention, and drawing attention to those below them is difficult. If EA has found a good way of doing this, kudos to them. I am surprised at just how shrill their denials have been. Pointing out that something has been misinterpreted is one thing, but EA is acting like its seriously scared of the carriers.
