China Mobile and Google are in talks about mobile search (nothing definite yet)...Google has recieved criticism for offering a censored search engine in China, but if the mobile search engine is aimed at delivering mobile content it shouldn’t be a problem—presumably it’s already passed the government’s filters.
Rafat: This comes the same day KDDI’s partnership with Google was announced in Japan…so Google is making headway in mobile search…it is already the default search on Opera Mini, and on T-Mobile’s portal in Europe.
