This is big news in the world of cellphone retailing, as well as mobile content. Carphone Warehouse as been very savvy about pushing data services in its retail stores in the UK, and hopefully that will come to the US as well.
Anyway, the news: Europe’s biggest mobile phone retailer has reached agreement with  Best Buy on two new commercial ventures. It plans to introduce a U.S. retail business operating under the “Best Buy Mobile” brand, as well as a home computing customer service business in the UK under the “Geek Squad” brand.
On mobile stores, they will first open in a trial period in New York City very soon.
