Canadian Mobile Content Firm Mobidia Raises $6 Million First Round

We mentioned one-half of this funding last summer: Canadian mobile content delivery technology company Mobidia has received a total of $6 million in venture funding.  The round was led by existing investor BDC Venture Capital with the participation of current investors British Columbia Discovery Fund and B.C. Advantage Funds.
Mobidia’s technology helps operators monetize multimedia applications, such as the sharing of user-generated content. The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. More details in this release here.
