Zi Corp. has formed a non-exclusive partnership with TravellingWave to help enter text into the phone. Pigging backing on people’s knowledge of text-messaging, TravellingWave’s technology works using voice-recognition, which becomes more accurate when users assist it by entering the first letter of each word spoken. The technology will be integrated into Zi’s eZiText and eZiType text-prediction products to help with messaging, search and mobile advertising. Earlier this year, Zi Corp. which works with Nokia (NYSE: NOK), was the acquisition target of Nuance Communications. Release.
