Vivendi Keen To Buy Out Vodafone’s Stake In SFR

Vivendi chief executive Jean-Bernard Levy has said that the company is interested in buying Vodafone’s 44 percent stake in French mobile phone company SFR. “If Vodafone ... wants to sell its stake, we are ready to buy it…I don’t think this minority participation is meant to last”, he told a French paper, reports Reuters. But apparently Vodafone is interested in raising its stake in the company, which is the second largest mobile operator in France.
