An undisclosed third party has approached UK mobile content platform provider WIN, which could result in an offer being made on the company, WIN said today in a statement. The company, which counts Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) and AOL (NYSE: TWX) among its clients, said the “Approach” was very “preliminary one” that may or may not lead to an offer, but as a result of it, the Board was exploring its options for “maximising” shareholder value.
