Yesterday, we wrote about the Twitter Vote Report which was a site built by volunteer developers to allow voters to provide live updates on polling conditions by calling in, sending a text message or by using a downloadable app available on the iPhone and the T-Mobile G1. Although there was a ton of activity yesterday, it was hard to tell how much it was being used. Today, the organizers are reporting that voters provided 11,000 live reports, and will sift through the data to report more findings later. The figures were appropriately announced in a Tweet: “Huge thanks to all who made #votereport their own. 11k reports came in; bunch of us are chewing over data, experience and will report back.”
