T-Mobile USA sent us an invitation this afternoon to a press conference on Sept. 23 “to witness the official unveiling of the first Android-powered phone from T-Mobile.” The invitation says the 7:30 a.m. PST event will include presentations from T-Mobile, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and other company execs, and an opportunity to use the phone during live product demonstrations. The email includes a illustration of a mobile phone screen that includes a map of the press event’s location. The map is displayed in three views, traditional, satellite and street view.
