SlingPlayer For iPhone Due In Q1
Sling Media has announced that the SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone application it has been developing since June will be delivered to Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) for certification in the first quarter of this year. It’s to be sold via the iTunes store, probably for around the same price as its other products ($39), and Sling said it will run over WiFi and 3G. It’ll be demo’d at Macworld.

“probably for the same price as other products ($39)” are you kidding? Most apps on the app store are $9.99 or less with most apps costing less that $5. Your statement is very misleading. Oh, and if Sling does plan to charge ($39) their adoption rate will be MUCH LOWER than if they price it more reasonably (say $19 or less) by a 3-4x multiple I would guess.
