Skyfire has opened the beta version of its mobile browser to any Windows Mobile and Symbian user and released Version 0.8, which fixes bugs and makes some other improvements. Like previous versions, Skyfire supports Ajax, Flash, Quicktime and Windows Media, making it the most PC-like browser on the market. The new version, which will come to Windows Mobile first and Symbian later, now includes a form that combines URL and search entry with auto complete functionality and a share function that allow users to send any web page via text message. In addition to the bug fixes, the new version has better video quality and zooming, faster launch and auto-reconnect, and the ability to download content and set Skyfire as the default browser.
