—Bling Software has signed a deal with Brightstar which will see Bling’s Active-Idle-Screens embedded into handsets, which lets them set up widgets to deliver info from the web. The service can be white label and run (and charged for) by operators.

—BravoTV is trying a new mobile promotion for its Project Runway show. The Project Runway Mobile Fan Club will have the usual stuff (behind-the-scenes video, fashion tips, tune in reminders and so on) and also some location-based content in New York, teaming up with Socialight. Designers and judges from the series will mark their favorite fashion and shopping destinations to restaurants, museums, parks, tattoo parlors and their recommendations of what to order, buy, see and do in New York.
