Pinch Media Gets First Round For iPhone Developer Tools
Pinch Media, a newly launched startup offering iPhone developer tools, has raised an unspecified seed round from from Union Square Ventures, First Round Capital and angels including Dave Morgan, Jerry Neumann, Mike Yavonditte, and Sharkey Goldstein Capital. NYC-based Pinch has launched an analytics service designed to give developers a better understanding of how their apps are being used on the device. The company is marketing its services to those developing on the iPhone SDK. Co-founder and CEO Greg Yardley was previously at Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) via Right Media. See more at the USV blog.
