Open Source Mobile Tech Vendor a la Mobile Secures $6.75 Million Second Round

Linux mobile device provider a la Mobile has raised a $6.75 million second round funding, PEHub reported, citing a regulatory filing. The round was led by previous backer Venrock, with managing partners Ray Rothrock and Tony Sun participating. Last month, the San Ramon, CA.-based company, which was founded in 2005, said it developed a series of Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Android applications for smartphones.
