Now T-Mobile Gets Sued
Just to keep track of things, T-Mobile is the subject of a class-action suit for billing for unwanted premium content. This follows Sprint and Alltel, and will likely be followed by Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and AT&T (NYSE: T) and others. In T-Mobile’s case the lawsuit claims “T-Mobile omitted necessary information from plaintiffs’ cellular phone bills that was required by [California statute], including the means to contact the offending third-party company, such as a toll free number,” reports RCR News. In February T-Mobile was sued for not letting people turn off normal text messaging.
