Nokia Growth Partners has made an investment of an undisclosed amount in video sharing firm Kyte.tv, joining current investors Swisscom and Holtzbrinck Ventures. There was no deal announced about putting Kyte.tv on Nokia phones, but that’s the way the start-up would like to go: “With Kyte being on Nokia phones, can you imagine the distribution?” said Daniel Graf, chief executive of Kyte.tv” reports Reuters. Nokia wouldn’t comment on whether that would happen, but did say that the investment ties in with its efforts to have more consumers use its phones to consume, create and share media. There have been about 4,500 collections of video and photos on Kyte.tv since it launched five weeks ago.
