Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has rolled out its twice-delayed online gaming service N-Gage today, as well as its social networking site “Share on Ovi,” which allows people to share photos and videos. The two new services are part of Nokia’s strategy to use the mobile internet at a way to differentiate itself from other device makers as well as attract more customers. As Reuters reports, Nokia is the first handset maker to push strongly into mobile content. N-Gage, which was delayed by software testing, will roll out to owners of Nokia’s N81 multimedia handset.
