Irvine, CA-based mobile content company NewMotion Inc, which recently bought off the messaging assets of Mobliss, has gone public on the OTC board, after a reverse merger with shell company MPLC, Inc. As a result of this, NMI raised $6.5 million in a private placement. More in release.
NMI was recently appointed Burton Katz as its new CEO…till last year Katz was president of Buongiorno’s North American operations and past executive of its U.K. operations.
NMI has three main brands: MobileSidewalk, a mobile content storefront; RingtoneChannel, a mobile storefront provider; and Bid4Prizes, a low-bid mobile auction game.
