NBC.com Updates Mobile Video Ad Serving; Ties Online And Mobile System Together
NBC.com is revamping the way it serves mobile video ads. The new service, which is powered by Kiptronic, will use NBC.com’s existing web-based ad infrastructure, while the new tools will serve dynamic video ads and switch out advertisers via DART. The system will let advertisers buy, track and traffic ads and control placement using the same system they use for the general website. NBC.com’s mobile website served 2.4 million video streams in Q1, which is more than the total number of streams served in all of last year, the network recently claimed. Today’s mobile announcement was made in conjunction with the network’s “Infront” ad presentation for its fall programming lineup. More on the ad presentation on our sister site paidContent.org here.
