MySpace China Partners with Micat For Mobile Version

Domestic Chinese mobile phone service provider MICAT has announced an agreement with social-networking website, MySpace (called Juyou in China). Together, they will be launching “MySpace MICAT,” a social platform for Chinese mobile internet users.

After entering the MySpace site, http://www.myspace.cn, and downloading ”MySpace MICAT” and installing it onto a cell phone, users can upload pictures, blogs, and messages onto his/her MySpace site at anytime and anywhere. Other functions such as a business card and message storage service will also be available. MySpace China CTO Tan Xiaosheng stated,” We’ve always encouraged innovation; the ‘Open Social’ platform will allow us to cooperate with innovative companies such as MICAT. This is a win-win situation for us and them.”
