MVNO Kajeet Raises $1.05 Million In Latest Round
Kid-oriented MVNO Kajeet has raised $1.05 million as part of its second round of funding, according to a regulatory filing, PEHub reports. Although the latest traunch isn’t much, the Bethesda, Md.-based company, focused on kids and tweens, has previously raised more than $68 million from a variety of investors. Kajeet also was able to secure $10 million in venture debt from BlueCrest Capital Finance. In June, the company restructured and laid off some employees. More recently, Kajeet scored a new point of distribution with Amazon.com (NSDQ: AMZN).
