Mobile content aggregator mSpot has announced that it has passed more than one million subscribers—It has 8 live services available on four carriers in North America. It has five services on Sprint (Sprint Radio, Sprint Movies, mSpot Movies, NFL Mobile and Sprint Power View), as well as Bell Canada Mobile Movies and Telus Mobile Radio in Canada and a streaming radio service on US Cellular. mSpot launched its first service in 2005, and charges subscription fees of several dollars a month, depending on the service.
MobiTV took two and a half years to reach 1 million subscribers, and then got its second million in less than 12 months.
