More on Google Phone, From Boston

Apparently some more details of the mythically-real Google phone, this time documented by Boston Globe: Rich Miner, Google’s VP of wireless, has shown the phone to Boston-area entrepreneurs and VCs, the story says, and quotes one source, who described it as “simpler” and not as flashy as Apple’s iPhone. He praised the phone’s ability to scroll through icons horizontally, making a number of different features easily accessible despite the limited screen space.

Another entrepreneur, who saw a prototype earlier this year, described 3D, animated buttons on the screen. That prototype had a small QWERTY keyboard rather than relying on a touch-screen.
