Streaming mobile TV provider MobiTV now has more than 2 million customers, according to Mobile Entertainment. MobiTV passed the one million subscriber mark in April last year, making it less than 12 months for the second two million. It’s also raked in $100 million in funding and expanded into Latin America.
The WSJ has a review of the MobiTV service, indicating that all the problems that had been the norm (based around poor transmission quality) are now the exception…and comparing the service across carriers.
