A mobile Visa debit card has been launched by MP3NY, the “boutique brand engineering firm” founded by Kevin Watson, also known as T-Weed on the TV show I Love New York, which is shown on VH1. The card allows wireless banking and potential customers only need a mobile phone and a US address. It’s targeted at unbanked Americans, small business owners and immigrants. If it works in Africa it can work in the US, the big question would be getting people to know about the card. (release)
