Mobile management company Zenprise has raised $10 million in what it describes as an “oversubscribed round” led by Bellevue, WA-based venture capital firm Ignition Partners. Previous investors Bay Partners, Mayfield, and Shasta Ventures also joined the round. As part of the investment, Ignition Partners’ Cameron Myhrvold joins the company’s board of directors. Six-year old Zenprise said it will use the money to help grow its sales and its marketing efforts, as well as continue expansion. Zenprise’s product is used by companies to help manage and troubleshoot the growing number of smartphones used by their employees. Its customers include companies such as Northwest Airlines, the Boston Red Sox and US Army.
