Mobile Content Bits: SendMe Mobile; Skyhook For Android; FOX Shows; Emirates Mobile; No Smoking

imageSendMe Mobile on Univision Móvil: SendMe Mobile, a mobile media company, said the mobile division of Univision Móvil, a Spanish-language media company, will offer SendMe’s mobile products, including wallpapers, mobile games and ringtones through subscriptions. In addition, the two companies will partner up to offer SendMe’s SoLow.com, which is a multi-player contest site. Univision will promote SendMe’s products across its digital media properties.

Android App integrates Skyhook Wireless: Skyhook said that two forty four a.m., the company that won the Android App Challenge, has integrated Skyhook into its app, Locale, rather than use GPS. Skyhook uses a hybrid system that also relies on Wi-Fi, which can be more reliable since typically GPS only works well outdoors. Locale lets users specify when device settings should change based on location. For instance, users can set an ‘at school’ or ‘at home’ condition that sets the ringer to vibrate, etc.

FOX renews with Airborne Mobile: Mobile Media Company Airborne Mobile said it will develop mobile content for FOX-based TV series, including Family Guy, American Dad and King of the Hill. The deal covers ringtones and wallpapers. Airborne previously worked with FOX on the Family Guy series, but the other two shows are new. Release.

Emirates airlines goes mobile: Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, has launched a mobile site that will allow customers to check-in online up to 24 hours before leaving; select a seat or meal; book a ride to the airport; search fares; and check flight schedules. The site, which was made by Usablenet, will automatically load when visitors go to Emirates.com on a phone.
Drug-Free America launches mobile campaign: The Partnership for a Drug-Free America has launched a mobile public service campaign in collaboration with Ringleader Digital and Contagious. The campaign will include mobile banners and will target both parents and and teens.
