—Cars.com goes mobile: Cars.com today said it re-launched its mobile site, so that consumers can access car prices from their phones while in a sales lot. The site was developed by Crisp Wireless. In addition to prices, they’ll have new and used car listings and details on cars, including photos. The site will also have access to Kelley Blue Book and a calculator for payments. —QuickPlay and Amobee: QuickPlay Media, a mobile TV and video company, and Amobee Media Systems, a mobile advertising company, said today they are teaming up to offer ad-supported mobile video to operators. Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Italy’s FreeVideo service will be the first customer with 3G subscribers having access to local and branded video content. The service will use information from the user’s profile and some context to provide more relevant advertising. The two companies will also report key metrics, such as ads watched back to the advertiser.
