Mobile Content Bits: Second Android Device; Flickr Mobile; Calendar Sync For Instinct; Shazam

Second Android device to launch next month: Kogan is gearing up to launch the second Android-powered device on January 29. The Agora and Agora Pro are available for pre-sale now at $299 and $399, respectively, and will begin shipping at the end of the month. The company said it hoped to price the Agora at $199, but “the impact of the global financial crisis on currencies” makes that “simply impossible.” The full specs on both devices are available in the release.

Flickr embraces mobile: Flickr has released a few upgrades to its mobile site that gives users access to videos on their iPhone or iPod Touch, but it plans to expand to other devices soon. Flickr will include more settings that correspond with the full version of the site such as comments, favorites, photos and contact management. Release.

Sprint adds calendar sync for Samsung Instinct: Sprint (NYSE: S) has rolled out a new service that gives Samsung Instinct users access to their corporate calendars via Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes. The new feature, which was developed in part by SEVEN, will be included in Sprint’s Mobile Email Work application. The carrier said it plans to extend corporate calendar sync to more non-smartphones in the future. Release.

Shazam catalog grows by 30 percent: Shazam has expanded its mobile music catalog from six to eight million songs after signing deals with some content providers in North America, Asia and Europe. The company said it will continue to put an emphasis on pre-release tracks from upcoming album releases. Release.
