—Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Music Store Launches In Italy: With a catalog spanning more than 4 million songs, Nokia has launched its digital music store in Italy. Nokia has made a big push to get deals with regional record labels in each country in which it launches the service to appeal directly to music fans in those markets. The firm said more than half of its catalog in Italy is from local artists. Nokia has hired teams in each country to determine the tastes in each region and make deals with labels and local aggregators to bring those artists on board. Release.

—Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Offering Mobile Tickets For Variety Film Screenings: Verizon customers who get invited by Variety to its award season Screening Series can receive their tickets on their mobile phone for the first time. The sixth annual screening series, which brings together voting members from various guilds, will feature at least 40 films.
