imageTwitter Mobile Barcode: Scanbuy has released some new 3D mobile barcode products. “The first is a barcode that automatically posts a Twitter message from your phone, and the second is an “instant win” lottery service” according to GoMo News. It seems a good way to run a sweepstakes, but each code has only one Twitter message, so it’s got to be something people would want to put up. The image on the right links to a Twitter post.

SpotOn GPS: TechnoCom Corporation has launched SpotOn GPS, a mobile advertising and marketing content delivery platform that provides comprehensive turn-by-turn navigation, search and mapping. It’s based on a platform that has been used by several operators around the world. (release)

AP 2.0 For IPhone: AP has updated its app for the iPhone to let people customize their own “Front Page” to define the news they see when they open the app. Other additions in the update include the ability to recieve news from regions or countries, the ability to share on Twitter or social sites, get press releases and send in news to AP. (release)

Orkut Mobile: Google (NSDQ: GOOG) has launched a mobile version of its its Orkut social network, which lets people upload photos and view scraps, friend updates and photo albums. It’s in English and Portuguese, due to the large Brazilian user base. (MediaNama)
