Mobile Content Bits: E! IPhone, Android; Kraft; MTV; Ringtone Recorder Pro

imageE! IPhone And Android: E! Entertainment Television plans to launch a free app for the iPhone and Android platforms this week, followed by other devices later. The apps will have video and display ads, and include multimedia, video and photos. “In the first quarter of 2009, E! Online delivered 43 million page views to 1.3 million unique users on mobile phones, double the number from the fourth quarter of 2008. The Web site reached 4 million unique visitors per month in the first quarter, up 20 percent compared with a year ago; video views online for the quarter reached 83 million, up 75 percent from a year ago,” reports TV Week.

Kraft Mobile Site: Kraft is launching a mobile website which lets users “create shopping lists, search their favorite recipes by ingredient or meal category all by utilizing Kraft’s extensive database of award-winning recipes”,and was built by Phonevalley. Kraft saw a lot of success with its iPhone app, hitting the top 100.

MTV Movie Awards On IPhone: MTV has launched an iPhone app for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. It’s run by Kyte, which has some other big names on its customer list such as UMG, NBC and Sony.

Ringtone Recorder Pro: FunMobility has launched a premium version of its popular Ringtone Recorder iPhone App, which has passed 1 million downloads. The Pro version will cost 99c, and has a much higher-quality audio resolution for enhanced play clarity, the ability to store unlimited ringtones, ringtone sharing and a cool, new animated user interface.

WeFi On Android: WeFi is launching a free Android app that offers users automatic access to the best WiFi connection available.

Resident Evil: Degeneration: Capcom is launching an iPhone game based on the movie Resident Evil: Degeneration. It includes multi-touch controls, tilting the device will reload weapons, and a shake helps shrug off infected enemies. It goes for $6.99.
