Mobile Analytics Company Neuralitic Systems Raises $3 Million From Blackberry Fund
This is not the cool, new consumer-facing mobile application that you were expecting, perhaps, but the BlackBerry Partner’s Fund has invested $3 million in Montreal-based Neuralitic Systems, which provides data services analytics to wireless carriers. The total amount raised is $10 million with contributions also made by Vertex Venture Capital, BDC Venture Capital and GO Capital Fund.
Audry Larocque Neuralitic’s CEO and co-founder: “In the current economic climate, this additional capital will not only confirm Neuralitic’s financial credibility in the eyes of our customers but will also allow us to establish permanent local presence in a growing number of high-potential markets.” Neuralitic is no doubt seeing increasing interest by carriers, which are seeing customers buy a higher percentage of smartphones. Release.
