Mobile Ad Network Toda!Cell Raises $1 Million

Israeli smartphone ad network Toda!Cell has raised $1 million in its first round of funding led by Israeli VC AfterDox which describes itself as a group of angel Investors, made up of present and former execs from Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the mobile technology provider.

The company’s “optimized” platform matches up premium mobile ad campaigns with users, and is currently available in Israel and Japan and plans to expand to the US next. VCCafe.com has an interview with its CEO Moshe Vaknin here, where among other information it describes its closest competitor as mobile ad platform Smaato.
